This is a one year Childcare course designed to enable students to work as members of a professional Childcare team. This course equips graduates with a QQI Level 5 award in Childcare. Students may gain entry to the Level 6 Advanced Childcare course in other colleges or to seek work on completion of the course.

Work Experience Placements form a vital part of childcare courses. As such students of this course will have the opportunity to attend a work placement in an early years setting throughout the year.
