Early Childhood Care and Education Level 6 one year programme enables students to become professional, reflective practitioners with an integrated approach in early childhood care and education. Students will achieve skills in the area of children’s play, art and craft, social studies, child development and children with additional needs. A supervised work placement also allows students to link theory to practice and gain valuable experience in different childcare settings.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students wishing to attend this course are advised to have completed level 5 studies in childcare in order to secure a place on the course. Applications are especially invited from mature students. Final selection subject to interview and all applicants may be subject to Garda Vetting.
