This course provides broad education on crafts and textiles. It will be of interest to anyone hoping to work with textiles. Students are given a thorough overview on textile creation from sketching concepts onto more detailed design and finally production. Students will experiment with textile components and fibres, working with unusual materials and using a variety of techniques.
Course content includes fabric manipulation, printed textiles, combining materials, painting studio practice, with modules of communications and work experience also included.
