This is a 1 year level 5 Engineering Technology PLC course. The course provides a basic understanding of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, which is essential for anyone wishing to pursue a career in engineering. The qualification also provides students with an opportunity to study QQI Level 5 Mathematics which is required for entry onto Engineering courses at third level. Successful graduates will have the option for progression onto Engineering degree courses.
